How to Set Up Proxies for MuLogin

At its core, MuLogin is an easy-to-use tool that manages multiple business accounts. This guide will focus on Oxylabs Residential and Datacenter Proxies and show you the simple step-by-step processes you’d have to follow if you want to set up proxies in MuLogin.

Setting up proxies with MuLogin

1. Download MuLogin from their official website, install, and run it.

2. After opening the tool, click Add browser.

3. You’ll be placed in the Basic configuration section. Scroll down and click on Proxy settings.

4. Choose the proxy type and fill in the following information.

Residential Proxies

Proxy type: HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5

IP address: pr.oxylabs.io

Port: 7777

Login user: customer-username

Login password: Oxylabs sub-user’s password

5. After entering your information, you can check the network to see if the process works. Detailed IP and country information should be displayed.

If you'd like to add a session ID, your login details will change to:

Login user: customer-username-cc-country-city-city-sessid-custom information

Note with Residential Proxies, specific locations are configured through login user details.

The usage of country-specific entries is also available. Entering us-pr.oxylabs.io under the IP address and 10000 under Port will acquire you a US exit node. For more information on country-specific nodes or if you need a sticky session, see our documentation.

Enterprise Dedicated Datacenter Proxies

Follow these instructions if you purchased Dedicated Datacenter Proxies via sales.

Proxy type: HTTP or SOCKS5

IP address: a specific IP address (1.2.3.4 as an example)

Port: 60000

With Enterprise Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, you will have to choose an IP address from the acquired list. Please refer to our documentation for more information.

Self-Service Dedicated Datacenter Proxies

Follow these instructions if you purchased Dedicated Datacenter Proxies via the dashboard.

Proxy type: HTTP or HTTPS

IP address: ddc.oxylabs.io

Port: 8001

When it comes to Self-Service Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, the port number corresponds with the sequential number of the IP address from the acquired list. Please refer to our documentation for more details.

Shared Datacenter Proxies

Proxy type: HTTP

IP address: dc.pr.oxylabs.io

Port: 10000

Note that using country-specific entries are also available. For example, if you enter dc.de-pr.oxylabs.io under the IP address and 40000 under Port, you’ll acquire a German exit node. To see the complete list of country-specific entry nodes, check our documentation.

6. Lastly, after filling out your proxy information, choose a Display name, scroll down and click save.

And that's it! Your setup is done.
